Another one gone! Third MinRes director walks in a week

Another Mineral Resources director — who also chairs the board’s new ethics and governance committee — has abruptly quit the business.
Non-executive director Denise McComish will leave MinRes immediately, the company said in a statement to the Australian Securities Exchange on Wednesday afternoon.
Her exit comes a week after fellow directors Jacqueline McGill and Susie Corlett, who were also members of the ethics and governance, resigned from the board.
At the same time MinRes assured investors it was “well progressed in the appointment of a new chair for announcement this quarter”.
James McClements said Ms McComish had dedicated “significant time and effort to ensure MinRes has robust and appropriate corporate governance procedures to see the company through its next stage”.
Ms McComish join the board less than 18 months ago.
She is a former partner with KMPG for 30 years, specialising in audit and advisory services
More to come.
