This looks delicious! I love dates in baked goods as they always give a caramel like taste and chewy texture! Yum!
UM YES. Love how you added the dates to make this sweet! I loovveeee coffee and recently fell in love with Dunkin Donuts brand. It’s not big over here in CA, so I only just discovered it! I take it black with sweetener 🙂
It looks SO SO soft and chocolatey Kaila; I would LOVE to try this. <3
As a former coffee shop owner I’m obviously a coffee addict hard core! We used to make our own cold brew at the shop and I still do at home. Its so easy and delicious ! To be honest I don’t like to eat anything with my coffee, I drink it just for its taste but this coffee cake sure does look amazing!
loving this coffee cake, one coffee lover to another! i found Kohana to be little strong for my taste but with almond milk and little sugar, its delish!
This was made just for me, right? Because based on the ingredients and the flavors and my current coffee obsession I think it must’ve been 🙂 I am not quite cool enough to have tried out the cold brew thing yet, but coffee + chocolates + date sand you have my attention!! It looks amazing, there is no way I would get 8 servings out of it though haha 😉
Coffee cake *with* coffee sounds like the best thing ever! Thanks for sharing your recipe with our Merry Monday party this week!
What a great cake – I love coffee cake but I’ve never thought to add chocolate to it! And I love that I don’t have to veganise this either! Win-win! Have pinned for later!

I’ve been making this kind of chocolate chip coffee cake for years. It works well as either a normal coffee cake or made into muffins.

ok, I am not a coffee drink or a dessert person but this does sound good- in fact chocolate and I don’t meet very often, I opt for carob instead so I can share with my dogs. I may try to make my carob coffee cake one of these days! Any ideas for changing chocolate and dates up to dog-friendly ingredients!?!??!?!
Yummy. Super excited to see vegan options! Thanks for the NO SUGAR ADDED gift! Really appreciate it!
